Xamarin Forms - Center cross-hair on Map

I have a really simple question 🙂

Using the Xamarin Forms version, how do I get the center cross-hair to show up on the map?  What is the option for it?  I have an app that I mostly wrote that shows it, but then the newer version of the app that I completely wrote that does not show it.  For the life of me, I can't track down what it is.

The cross in the center of this picture.   There is no SimpleMarkerSymbolStyle.Cross used in the app.  I don't see a property to turn it on/off on the map.  Yet, there it is.

I'm a little confused. The Runtime SDK doesn't have, and never had a "center cross-hair". Can you explain a bit more what you're referring to?
