Uneditable IPS Tables when sharing from Enterprise Geodatabase

The ArcGIS IPS workflow requires sharing an editable web map to either an ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise portal. It is crucial that the IPS tables in this map are editable as the ArcGIS IPS Setup app will need to populate them.

The IPS tables in the shared webmap will not be editable if

the IPS tables are stored in an Enterprise Geodatabase
the option “Reference registered data: Editable” is selected in the “Share As Web Map” pane in Pro
the map is shared to an ArcGIS Enterprise portal from ArcGIS Pro 2.9.2 or below

The attached document describes a manual workaround to this issue.
