shape markers covering each other

I'm using shape markers to visualise walking routes, some cover each other partially

I can change the drawing order but that doesn't change the problem, I'm sure there is a way to fix this but can someone point me in the right direction please?

Got it.

It is in 'placement template' property which determines distance between markers

I changed 16 in 14 with the above effect.

 

solved it.
