Create 3D Buildings

Question

Hi, one of my team members has been tasked to create 3D buildings with roof lines.  She is well versed in Sketchup, and we have a license of CityEngine which she has had training on.  Does anyone have a process or steps that you use to create building from foot prints, and at the same time create rooflines.  We currently have an Esri ELA, and we are open to use any software.

If she already has training in City Engine like you said, Tutorial 5 should be no problem.
