show numbers or labels?

i need to be able to have dots that auto number (and show on the dot) or show the label all the time (not just a pop up). Anyone know if that's possible?

mh... Have you zipped your shapefile ?

At which step you get the error ? Can you upload your data and then you can't visualize the features ?

Check that you feature class (from annotations) doens't contain more than 1'000 features. If it is so, just divides your feature class (from annotations) in a few shapefiles.

Yes, I zipped the shape file with less than 1000 features and was able to upload to the site, but the labels shown are not readable.

a small summary :
 �?� design labels for your map layers in ArcMap;
 �?� convert labels to annotation;
 �?� use the Feature Outline Masks tool to create polygon feature geometry from annotation;

then you choose you you want to import the features in your map (services or shapfiles).

I followed the steps from the link you provided and successfully converted the Anno feature into shape file, but when I load it to ArcGIS Online, it is not readable, do you have same experience or do I miss anything?
