With the various ArcGIS Runtime APIs, native 2D and 3D geo-apps can be developed for all relevant platforms. Here are the highlights of the new version:
- Vector Tile Layers can now also be used as basemaps in 3D Scenes
- 3D Scene Layer (I3S) versions 1.7 and 1.8 now also work on mobile devices (in v100.12 it was only introduced for desktop devices)
- New Indoor Positioning API based on ArcGIS IPS
- Dimension Layers can now be used, supporting Identify, Selection, and Visibility Control among others.
- Contingent Values are now supported. This allows multiple attributes of a feature to be validated based on a specific attribute. This is comparable to domains but for multiple attributes.
- Utility Network – semantics for deleting associations have been extended
- ArcGIS Runtime Toolkits have been expanded with widgets (Search, Basemap Selector, Floor Selector)
- Many more extensions and improvements.
