In ArcGIS Pro 2.8, within Python, I need to set the layer property to Automatically Select Related Data for newly added layers. I could not find any project or global settings in Options. See the attached snapshot.
The best I can find is here in the help pages, and it's not that much help at all. There are times when ESRI just doesn't expose properties to arcpy as we would like them to.
