Can I use Reports, Stats or PortalPy to get a count of the "Unique" hits on a web service? I need this to analyse whether a service has exceeded a set number under a licence agreement.
The logs will keep track of user logins and such, but I haven't seen it track service use per user. You'd probably need an additional (read: non-Esri) tool to monitor network traffic with your portal, and then associate specific IPs with certain users.
Mind, depending on the service in question, a single "hit" may mean they simply panned the map and pinged the service with a new query or render request.
