Export Multipoint Geometry to CAD Format

In ArcMap (using 10.7.1) it was no problem using the Toolbox, "Export to CAD" Tool to convert a Multipoint Feature Class to CAD format.

However in ArcGIS Pro 2.7.1 it seems it is not possible to convert Multipoint to CAD?  Is this an oversight and can it be resolved in a future release?

The only solution I have been able to develop is to use the "Feature to Point" Tool however this is going to involve a lot of work and hassle converting FileGeodatbases and the SDE Feature Classes they update.

Is there a better solution/workaround?

I tested the multipoint workflow in ArcMap - works as expected.  Then in ArcGIS Pro - fails as you have in your attached graphic.  I looked for other GP tools that may do the same thing but am not seeing it.  I'd recommend reaching out to Esri Support Services to see if you can add this as an enhancement request for the GP tool.
