Most popular data format to exchange Network related project data

Hi there!

I'd like to ask the community what is the most popular data format to exchange Network related project data? I am aware of the popularity of Shapefile, but is the most common one? I am interested in data exchange between ArcGIS Pro users internally, as well as between ArcGIS Pro and other GIS platform users.

Shapefile is dreadful for this purpose, since it doesn't support the feature dataset container that supports networks.  File geodatabase is really your only option.
