The users have a table with information about the well locations. They can select a record and the map will filter and pan to the location. However, it doesn’t zoom in to the location. The documentation suggests that it should: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/power-bi/design/lock-map-extent.htm
You can test this by zooming out on the map, selecting a record and noting it does not zoom in to the record.
