Can you add weights to a line density raster file?

I have a student who wants to know how to assign a weight when creating a line density map, I believe there is a way but don't know which tool is capable of doing it.

Her example; I would want to know if the majority of trajectories are coming from the Pacific Ocean, but the majority of actual rainfall is coming from the Gulf of Mexico. 

I would appreciate any insights and thank you very much,

you can find the Line Density tool in ArcGIS Pro / ArcMap from Spatial Analyst Tools > Density > Line Density
