ArcGIS Data Store counter in Monitor

Question

Hello,

I have Monitor version 10.8.0 installed monitoring an enterprise 10.7.1 environment.  I have added a Portal counter which is working, but I would also like to add a counter for the data store.  I've searched and can't find any instructions on how to do so.  Is there any documentation to add a data store counter or should this populate in the Monitor dashboard once a Portal has been added?

In addition to the Data store Extension (EgdbDataStore Add-On), portal counters can also monitor content for users so using both in conjunction would be your best bet.

The datastore is configured as a custom counter that can be found in the ArcGIS Monitor Gallery.
