Steps:
Idea: Instead of navigating to the Modify Features pane and clicking Edit Vertices, I want to use the select tool to double-click a feature to edit the vertices.
Video:
@Bud not quite what you are looking for but you can access Edit Vertices from the right-click menu. Depending on your cursor location on the map, accessibg the tool from here could reduce mouse travel to the Edit ribbon's tool's Gallery.
@JMutunga Thanks.
Double-click to edit vertices was stolen from us in ArcGIS Pro! 🙂 We want it baaack. A very simple shortcut to help streamline editing workflows. When a feature is selected in ArcGIS Pro, double-clicking that feature literally does nothing; replace nothing with something helpful!
@KoryKramer
Yes, as Cort Wilson and Bud said, please add back to ArcGIS Pro the shortcut of enabling the 'Edit Vertices' tool by double clicking a feature.
Thanks
@JMutunga
The use of right-click has issues, as discussed in the following topics:

This issue still exists in version 3.6. I would like to be able to edit vertices without right-clicking again.
