I am plotting a bathymetric survey which has an insanely large amount of coordinate points. I can plot it in arc pro however when I try to convert the points to a line using the xy to line tool it gets stuck on "pending".
it is locally stored data?
Have you tried a subset?
are you doing a geodesic or planar line type?
are you changing the coordinate system in the process?
Do you have lots of ram? or does "pending" mean that there is lots of disk writing of intermediate data
