GeoBIM Log-In to BIM 360

Hi,

I was wondering: does a solution exists or in the works for caching credentials for a GeoBIM project?

My goal is to be able to make a solution where the GeoBIM project is restricted to an AGOL org but any user within the org would never need to log into BIM 360 directly to see linked models.

Is there a way to accomplish this? 

Any help at all is appreciated 🙂

Hi @TreavonClark, 

Currently, ArcGIS GeoBIM only creates links and allows users to view those linked files across systems when their username within Autodesk is verified to make sure they can securely view the information or datasets. We do not currently have a way to override that identity check because of security concerns. Also, please indicate some more specifics on the workflow. Do you want this ability to open model or file viewables to show public data from Autodesk? Or are you asking about be given developer tools that will allow you to assemble an app that makes links to elsewhere? Your intended use case would be very helpful for us to understand in the idea if you can include that there.
