real time update from excel file to arcgis pro

Question

I was wondering which would be the best way to import points from an excel table to ArcGIS pro and to refresh them when the excel table is updated automatically. I have read about the refresh button but it doesn't work for the things on the map. Right now, I'm importing the data from the catalog pane as XY points, there is another way to import and refresh them automatically?

One workflow that would work - if the Excel file is regularly updated at a given time of the day, you can schedule the Excel to Table GP tool to run 5, 10, 15, 30, etc. afterwards so that the geodatabase table is current daily.
