Suggestion: Allow sharing of code via URL instead of ZIP upload

Currently ArcGIS Online allows users to share code (e.g. geoprocessing samples) only by uploading a zip file.  I would like to be able to instead provide a link to an external website (e.g. a GitHub repository page).

There is no support for attaching and running code from a web map.

I have a google analytics script to be added to a webmap. As you know, it's a script that needs to run once for every access.  Can I use the "Attach code" functionality to collect statistics on the webmap?
