June 2026 Upgrade crashes Dashboards

Question

I am not the first to be annoyed by the update breaking things that I cannot fix.

I have a published layer referenced in a webmap that now cannot be found in my dashboard. Even if I try to reset the source.

[Sigh] I don't expect a fix any time soon. It won't be rolled back. It is out of my control. Maybe Open Source tools are a good idea.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, @KimOllivier - I'm going to echo @SandraLuken1 suggestion below and strongly recommend that you contact Esri Technical Support and open a case.

You can do that through your My Esri or the Esri Support App.

Extra messaging was added this release to help identify some incomplete configurations such as missing layers. If you are now seeing a message that a layer is missing, it's the message that is new not the missing layer. The Data sources option on the left side of the authoring tools will help with the detection and repair. Do reach out to Technical support for added assistance in troubleshooting.
