ArcGIS Pro 3.7.0: The output of the “Reclassify” tool fails to respect the defined classes,

Question

In the screenshot below, I could not figure out why the output of the “Reclassify” tool fails to respect the defined classes. The number of classes is set to 5, but the output contains 6 classes.

What could be the issue here?

If you check the "Change missing values to NoData" box, does the "extra" class disappear?  If any values fall outside your defined ranges (for example, min/max slightly beyond what you assumed, or gaps between ranges), they can be written out as their original values, creating an extra output value (“6th class”).
