This is BUG-000163295 - In ArcGIS Pro 3.2, the scroll bar is missing in the Catalog Pane. It's under review and will likely be addressed a near future update I suspect.

That is correct. Just park your mouse over the featureclass you are interested and full path information plus other information should popup

The catalog "view" has a horizontal scrollbar

Could you please insert a screensot that shows the horizontal scrollbar for the catalog?

I floated the catalog view to get it beside the catalog pane

notice that the "view" has the scrollbar and the pane uses pop-ups to access the information
