A lightweight version of the JavaScript API

An even more lightweight version of the JavaScript API than the compact version, optimized for mobile phones. One that could be compared to Leaflet and other similar APIs. With less functionality, and hopefully not based on Dojo.

Yes! At the very least decouple it from Dojo so we can use different versions if we want. Currently this sample is out there but totally out of date:
