Precision Point Placement - Online Editing

Need to add the "right click, enter xy" to place precision points for online web apps/editing. Yes you can load from a spread sheet however when using a feature service to existing feature classes where the entries need to be precision placed there is no method for doing so.

I agree that this would be a valuable ability to have.

As I understand it, this request it to provide the ability to interactively add a point by typing in lat/long or x/y values using the ArcGIS Online Map Viewer or the ArcGIS Online Basic Viewer template. These are office workers not field staff. One work flow solution would be to provide filed staff the ability to capture points using the Collector for ArcGIS app. You might find this blog post regarding data caputre and accuracy with smart phones interesting.
