Ability to Connect to Geodatabase Feature Class Tables in Excel/Access

I would love the ability to create a database link to the tabular data in a feature class using Excel or Access. Right now, if I want to use the tabular data for another purpose I have to export it to some format I can then connect to.

If your data is in a personal geodatabase you can use ODBC to connect to a table.

Bud

ODBC can also be used to connect to enterprise geodatabases in MS Access and Excel. There might be a similar driver for connecting to mobile geodatabases, too.
