Ability to view scrolling measures along route on hover in Roads & Hwys Desktop

ArcGIS Desktop - Roads & Highways Extension enhancement request. In ArcMap, existing functionality allows the coordinates to dynamically display based on the cursor position on the screen. Similar functionality is needed where the user can hover over a route (perhaps after enabling the tool) where the measures along the route can be dynamically viewed as the user moves the cursor along the route. The ability to provide the interpolate measure at a given location along a route exists and can be enacted with a user click (i.e., Identify Route Location), but making the measures dynamically available to the user would greatly increase the usability of the software. Request based on experience with 10.2.2 patch 1 and earlier versions.
