I'd appreciate a clarification about this request. The reference to "style" suggests this request is for custom style sheets to allow user-specified formats for the display of ArcGIS metadata. But the reference to "importing" suggests the desire may actually be to allow importing of metadata documented with other (i.e., non-ArcGIS) schemas, for example ISO 19139.
