Web AppBuilder (3D) Search Widget include feature service and scene layer

When using the Web AppBuilder based on a WebScene (3D) the search widget only has the option to include geocoding services. I would like to be able to search feature services and scene layers as well.

It is total nuts that this is NOT possible ... I don't even get the point why this is missing.

I have 3D-multipatch-features uploaded as scene layer package with information on it (I can see it in the pop-ups) and I want the user to be able to search this information and find the fitting 3D feature. But when I tried to configure the search I noticed that it isn't even possible to search one simple feature layer...
