WYSIWYG and Code Text Editor

Separate visual and code text editing as Web CMS does (example from WordPress) and allow direct WYSIWYG editing in the layout. The same goes for Label Expression Editor. Enhance text possibilities further as requested in Layout Text Enhancements.

Visual Text Editor for quick and easy WYSIWYG text formatting.

Code Text Editor for better code management.

Syntax highlighting
Formatting tags and dynamic tags buttons
Visualize syntax errors, auto-correction, auto close tags, autocomplete, etc.

This is offered in ArcGIS Pro. You can edit the text on the layout to get a WYSISWYG experience, or on the Element pane to get a tag experience.
