Topology rules in a model builder

Good evening. 
I have a problem with topology. 
When I use the topological condition in a Model builder "Must not have gaps", 
among the errors that I export, there is also the perimeter.
The problem is that i work with very different sized polygons and later I can't put 
a dimensional limit in a selection. On what parameters can I act regarding the topology
to eliminate the perimeter errors? Thanks
