Collector for ArcGIS crashing when submitting or updating a feature

Collector crashes whenever submitting or updating a feature. I have to open the application back up, and navigate back to my location on the cached workspace. I'm using an Ipad device.

I'm experiencing this problem on Ipad versions 8.1.2 and 8.3.

I just uninstalled the app and reinstalled it - so far so good.

Did you lose your cached maps when you uninstalled? Unfortunately, the iPad has a lot of cached maps that would take substantial time to redo.

I did lose the maps that were downloaded to the device. I re-downloaded them from my arcgis online account.

After downloading the maps to the device, it is back to crashing after updating
