SmartMapping.createClassedColorRenderer error

Hi,

I am trying use smart mapping to color my map based on esri classification methods(quantile/natural-breaks etc). I have a custom basemap and a featurelayer created from a feature collection. But when I use smartMapping.createClassedColorRenderer method, I get the error:

I am not using FeatureLayerStatistics, but even if I include that module, it still gives the same error.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

might it have something to do with this: Statistics missing on Promise object?
