Grid Index Features tool doesn't work

Question

Hello,

Some of the ArcGIS users in my GIS class bring a strange issue to my attention.

Grid Index Features tool doesn't work at all. I tried myself to execute the tool but

when I click on Grid Index Features nothing happens. They are using ArcGIS 10.4.1

desktop advanced. Some are using Windows 8.1 or Windows 10. I'm wondering that

it is a known issue or I'm missing something here.

Has anyone figured this out? My Windows 10 ArcGIS 10.6 & PC 10.6.1 PC does not create the file yet the Geoprocessing Results tell me the file is created successfully.

"Adding to Display" does not work either.

Thank you for  feedback. Unfortunately, the issue is seen in all machines. I just send a message to Esri Tech Support (Esri Turkey) regarding this issue.

I don't have ArcMap 10.4.1 to test. The tool is opening fine in 10.3.1.

Is the issue seen in all the machines having ArcMap 10.4.1? If the issue manifests for a few users, you might try https://community.esri.com/docs/DOC-2121?sr=search&searchId=8adb47a6-d817-4ff6-9bad-4be35f71b996&searchIndex=0‌ or repairing/reinstalling ArcGIS 10.4.1 instance.

If all machines have the same issue, consider contacting Esri Tech Support.
