How to hide a widget popup window on the map?

I added a new widget and customized it per my requirement.How to hide a widget on a map? I want the widget display to be none all the time and not show the popup window when I clicked on it.

You should look at the https://community.esri.com/docs/DOC-8592-layer-toggle-button-widget-version-22-01132017  which has no UI just like you are wanting, and see how that source code is structured.
