Often users work on multiple projects at a time. Each of these projects have their own ArcGIS Pro Projects. In this scenario the projects are completely unrelated.
- Project A involves a heavy lift of geo-processing over a large area, which is going to take some time to complete
- Project B involves a basic map showing site locations
While I in the middle of running the geo-processing for Project A, the user gets a call from the a client/customer for Project B. He/she needs a quick update for the map which would take <5 minutes. Unfortunately the GIS professional can’t open up the Project B ArcGIS Pro while Project A is running because it is their understanding that you cannot open 2 ArcGIS Pro sessions at one time.
Is there a work around for this?
