ArcPad 8 on HTC devices

Question

I am planing to buy a HTC Touch Diamond 2. Is it possible to install ArcPad8 on it? It has Windows Mobile 6.1/6.5 operating system so it should be possible, but I'd like to hear an opinion from some specialists:)
Is there any difference in Windows version (6.1 vs 6.5)? Will it affect ArcPad?

We have recently purchased 3 HTC TD2s and installed ArcPad 8 on them. It works fine, however they are currently only used for a very basic data capture project. I have not tested them for GPS data capture yet. They have Windows Mob 6.1.
