ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7.1 - How to copy hosted feature layer?

Hi,

Using an organization Portal for ArcGIS, I would like to copy (actual data) a hosted feature layer within the same portal.

I read this doc how how to save a copy of the layer but the copy points to the same data source:

The purpose of copying is to create a 'backup' in case editing goes wrong...
