Internet Explorer blocks images stored on Google site

Question

I have stored thumbnail images for ARCGIS Online map pop-ups on a Google site. The url's work fine in Chrome but not in Internet Explorer. Is there a work-around for this?

Thanks – neither of these made a difference for me, and I don’t want to have to suggest that every potential user do this. Instead, I hosted the images on Google Drive and used gdurl.com to generate a permalink for use as the thumbnail url. This worked.

Hi Ann,

Add the site in trusted sites in Internet options > Security in IE.

Also put the website to exceptions in Pop-up blocker.
