how can i make my own map as a basemap in ArcGIS silverlight viewer?

i have country layer and i only want to show that as s base map, is it possible that i may have that base map?

Hi Junaid,

You need to create ArcGIS Server Cached (Tiled) map services to add it as a basemap. Dynamic map services are not supported for use as basemaps.

You could publish the layer as a map service and then access the service through your viewer.
