Bookmarks widget in the Javascript API?

Hi.

Does anyone know when (or if) a bookmarks widget will be available in the Javascript API?

Preferably a widget that can show, add, edit, remove and clear bookmarks from a WebMap 🙂

Yes, i was referring to the 4.x API. I've seen the code you wrote, but I would be able to handle (add, remove, edit) the bookmarks from a web map 🙂

Do you know if Esri will provide a widget like this in the future?

I assume your are asking about the 4.x API, since the 3.x API does have one already. If so there is not one but I threw together some code to get you close to the 3.x version:
