ClusterFeatureLayer works with map service or only feature service

Hi all,

I am trying to use this GitHub - odoe/esri-clusterfeaturelayer: Based on the Esri ClusterLayer, but similar to FeatureLayers.

but I have no success.

Does it require a feature service?

After some testing, it looks like it does not work great with Map service but works better with feature services.

No more errors but not showing me clusters.

I have got this strange proxy issue:

esri.config.defaults.io.proxyUrl is not set. If making a request to a CORS enabled server, please push the domain into esri.config.defaults.io.corsEnabledServers.

I am not dealing withe external data so not too sure why I would need a proxy.
