feature class with an auto populating lat long field.

Question

I am using a third party application with collector and it requires passing along lat long data. I would like to auto populate the lat long field when submitting data to collector.  Is that possible?

Do you think I could make a geoprocessing service that populates those fields in collector? I am not a developer but use model builder frequently.
