map download failure

I must be missing something...??

I've got a web app containing:

• AGOL hosted tiled map service with export enabled at:

Services Directory - SRD_Base(MapServer)

• Single hosted feature service with sync enabled

I go to download to device and oh no!!! Error mssg:

Is the tiled map a secured service?? really?? It's set to public and export enabled...

what am i missing here???
