I have a autocad dwg and want to pull some of the annotation out to arc I have a youtube video that showed me how but they took it off.. Can anybody help... still learning just updated to 10.5 desktop

For future reference, it might help to place CAD/GIS related questions in the https://community.esri.com/groups/cadgis-data-integration?sr=search&searchId=428abfff-db33-4b09-93aa-5f7646e37beb&searchIndex=0 group.
And, I have been in the same boat before in regards to having to do a lot of manual labor in trying to get CAD annotation into GIS. Like you said, lots of merging. It's a pain, but it is when it is. When will these CAD people start to understand that GIS is far superior and should be the medium of choice!
I have 3 that I want to bring into arc right now.. I can bring them into arc in points one at a time now I have to merge the them together.. I think will do what I'm wanting.. still learning how to do things. Thank both of you for help..
Do you want all CAD Annotation to Arc or some of annotation?
