Remove Social Media Icons from new StoryMaps

Question

I have organization users who are building their storymaps with the newest interface.

The users would like to remove the social media icons/links that automatically show up when the story is published.

With the new storymaps, I do not see a way under "Configure" to remove those icons.

Anyone have any suggestions?

You can hide the social media button by opening the StoryMap in edit mode > click "..." > click "Story Settings" > check the box for "Hide the social sharing icons in this story’s header". You can also refer to this document: Promote a story—ArcGIS StoryMaps | Documentation
