Visual Studio 2008 and ArcGis

​is it possible to use ArcGIS SDK with Visual Studio2008 and the .NET Framework 3.5? If so...which version of the ArcGIS SDK can I download to make that happen? I first want to make sure this SDK can do whatever we need for our application, before changing my software.

What type of application would you like to build? Why are you restricted to VS2008 and .NET 3.5?

If you would like to evaluate the ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NET here's what you can do (for free!):

- Install VS 2013 Community Edition (Free Dev Tools - Visual Studio Community 2013)

- Install ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NET

- Use the templates to get started (WPF, Store, Phone)
