Failed to create GDB using ArcCatalog 10.7.1

Question

Hi all,

I have problem when trying to create a gdb from ArcCatalog 10.7.1. Below is the SS of the error.

FYI, I can create the gdb from the server itself by using ArcCatalog that I've installed in the server itself, but when I tried to create it through LAN network, got this error.

Server Version : ArcGIS Server WorkGroup Adv 10.7.1

DB : Database Server Workgroup (SQL Express 2014 SP3)

ArcGIS Client : ArcGIS Desktop Standard

The license may need to be updated.

Hello,

I've seen this once before and it was resolved by upgrading the SQL Server Express version to 2017. Is that possible?
