Global Background - Vignette with a stroke in the middle

Hello there,

I was hoping someone might be able to tell me what I must do in order to get the Global Background feature layer (either from Living Atlas or from https://srd.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=9d87b96d48714e7ca9c89ab63f2c3cd7 ) to not have a stroke in the middle, when I would like to produce a vignette.
Fyi, once downloaded it does not include a stroke. This I add in the symbology pane under structure. (Selecting only the stroke in the middle is not possible.) #vignette #globalbackground #stroke #gradient stroke‌
