I have to load a layer into an online program that only accepts .kml files. When I use the "convert layer to .kml" tool, it automatically converts to a .kmz, which this program will not accept. How do I convert to a .kml file only? Thank you!
Hi, Anne, You can simply open the exported .kmz in google earth, highlight the file after it draws, then file/save/save place as/.kml (In the Save as type: pulldown, you have a second option of .kml). Good luck.
