I am hoping to find more current mapping. For, example the imagery base maps in ArcGIS are not as up to date as the maps in Google Earth. I have been using the base maps provided by ArcGIS, but they are often lacking up to date imagery.

I guess your only other option is getting a bing map key and use their aerials.

If you are interested in obtaining a free Bing key for access with ArcGIS, this is the help link ArcGIS Help (10.2, 10.2.1, and 10.2.2) I went thru the process and is was fairly easy.
