Community Analyst 5 Variables

Question

In the Community Analyst app can you only select up to 5 variables. I am working on a project in need of Census data but need additional data to be used besides the 5 variables I have selected.

Thanks for asking. To better assist you, can you tell me which area of Community Analyst you are adding the variables? The "SmartMap Search" (Maps < Create Maps < SmartMaps Search) has a 5 variable limit, but you can add more than 5 variables by adding variables in "Suitability Analysis" (Maps < Run Analysis < Suitability Analysis). Suitability Analysis will take you through steps to 1) select your boundary/area, 2) select variables including Census data.
